DESCRIPTION:  Bright blue flowers with a white centre from October to April, soft green maple-like leaves, loose mounding habit. Voted RHS Plant of the Centenary..
USES: Underplanting below trees, groundcover in part shade, in baskets and containers. Well behaved, won’t self-seed.
PLANTING: Plant in any soil, any aspect, any location except waterlogged. It might flag a little in tropical humid climates, but try it and see. The sunnier the position the more water it will need. Mulch after planting to retain moisture and regulate soil temperatures as the young plant establishes. Really cold-hardy to Siberian levels.
CARE: An application of a native slow release fertiliser in spring will help keep the plant healthy. Light trim in summer will help prolong flowering throughout Autumn.
