Dianella caerulea ‘Emerald Fountain’ – blue flax lily
APPEARANCE : Compact growing native flowering grass with bright green arching leaves, a gentle weeping habit, and dainty deep purple flowers with bright yellow stamens.
USE FOR :Mass plantings, underplanting, rockeries, borders.
PLANTING : Plant in a full sun or heavy shade position in the garden. Tolerates most soil types. Caerulea dianellas are more tolerant of humid climates than other dianellas.
CARE : Mulch and water regularly until the plant is established, usually around 12 weeks. Remove old flowers and foliage and apply fertiliser twice yearly.
